Recorded on one Maxell cassette tape over the course of a few years (with generous help from a computer). Track one was recorded in a basement in Brooklyn in the winter of 2019. Track two began as a loop that I made three floors above that basement, and several months before, sitting on the floor with Laszlo Horvath -- that is him playing bass. Track 3 began as a loop I recorded in a house called Earth House in 2018. I recorded both those loops onto the tape in one night in the winter of 2019. Track four was recorded in a room high up above Lawn Avenue in Middletown, CT, looking out over a rainy street. Most vocals and overdubs were done in Brooklyn during the COVID-19 lockdown.
